Austin, TX – January 3, 2008 – Solis Women’s Health announced today that it has acquired Phoenix, Arizona based BenOra Imaging. BenOra, founded by Dr. Avi BenOra in 1982, is the oldest dedicated breast diagnostic facility in greater Phoenix, and a national pioneer in the delivery of women’s imaging. BenOra is led by Wayne Hansen, M.D., Richard Vanesian, M.D., and Michele West, M.D., who will continue as the principle physicians in the center.
Solis CEO Brad Hummel, commented, “The BenOra acquisition is an exciting extension of the Solis model into one of the fastest growing population centers in the nation. Early next year we will relocate BenOra to a new, completely digital facility which has been designed around the efficiencies and benefits of digital image acquisition and transfer. The center will offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic services and will be fully integrated into the Solis radiology information system.”
