eCollege is a pioneer in online distance learning, both in the postsecondary and in the K-12 virtual schools segment, and it is the industry leader in the fast-growing career college segment in the US.

CRP originally invested in eCollege in 2003 to facilitate the acquisition of Datamark, the nation’s largest integrated marketing services company targeting the postsecondary education industry. CRP’s subordinated debt was repaid in 2006 and CRP’s equity position will be monetized in the Pearson transaction. www.ecollege.com
